Golden Health Science

Medical Disclaimer

In one line

This site explains health science. It cannot diagnose you, and it is no substitute for a doctor who can examine you. In an emergency, call your local emergency number, not this site.

Golden Health Science is a health education site. Every article here is written to help you understand your body, and the research about it.

That is all it is. It is not a clinic. It is not your doctor. It cannot examine you, and it does not know you. This page sets out what the site can do, what it cannot, and how to use it safely.

01This Is Education, Not Medical Advice

Everything here is written to teach. None of it is written for you in particular.

The articles, the pillar guides, and the blog posts all do one job. They explain what research has found about health, disease, the body, and the daily choices that shape a life.

That is not the same as advice.

Nothing here is a diagnosis. Nothing here is a treatment plan. Nothing here is a prescription. And nothing here replaces a qualified health professional, because only they know your history, your condition, and your situation.

So do not use this site to work out what is wrong with you, or with anybody else. Do not use it to treat a condition. Speak to a health professional first. And never let anything you read here replace a treatment or a medicine your doctor has recommended.

02No Doctor and Patient Relationship Is Created

Reading this site does not make us your doctor. Neither does writing to us.

Nothing here creates a doctor and patient relationship between you and Golden Health Science, or anybody who works on it. We do not know you. We do not know your history or your circumstances. We do not provide care, diagnosis, or treatment to any reader, and we cannot.

03Always Speak to a Qualified Health Professional

If something about your health worries you, take it to somebody who can examine you.

You need nobody’s permission to walk more, sleep better, or eat more vegetables.

Some situations are different. Please speak to a health professional first if any of these fits you.

  • You are pregnant
  • You have a diagnosed condition
  • You have symptoms
  • You have a history of an eating disorder
  • You are simply not sure what is safe for you

Never start, stop, or change a prescribed medicine because of something you read here. Ask the person responsible for your care first.

We work to keep this site accurate and carefully sourced. Errors still happen. And there is a deeper limit than that one. Research describes large groups of people. It does not describe you.

A weather forecast can tell you it will rain across the county. It cannot tell you whether your garden gets wet.

What holds for most people may not hold for you. A health professional can weigh your own case. A website cannot.

Wherever you live, your own doctor or local health service comes first. Please take any health concern to the right professional in your own country.

04In an Emergency, Call Emergency Services Now

In a medical emergency, do not search this site. Call your local emergency number right away.

The numbers below are widely used, and services change. Please check the right number for where you live, and save it.

United States, Canada911
European Union112
United Kingdom999 or 112
Australia000
India112
Nigeria112

Not listed here? Look up your local number now, while you do not need it, and keep it somewhere you can find it fast. Do not rely on this site in an emergency. Call the official service.

If calling is unsafe or impossible, many countries run emergency text and relay services. Find out what yours offers before you ever need it.

05Where the Information Here Comes From

From published research, and from health bodies that put their name to their guidance.

Our sources include the World Health Organization and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. We use medical journals such as The Lancet, JAMA, and the New England Journal of Medicine. We use research universities and expert bodies in each field. Where a claim matters, we link it to the source it came from.

We work to keep every article right on the day it goes up. But medical science keeps moving. Guidelines change. New studies replace old ones. What counts as best practice today can be revised tomorrow.

So this site may at times hold errors, gaps, or statements that have gone out of date. Every article shows when it was published, updated, and last reviewed. If those dates are old, please check the original sources for current guidance.

Spot something wrong? Tell us at info@goldenhealthscience.com. What we change is recorded in our Corrections Policy. We are not responsible for what follows from acting on anything published here without first speaking to a qualified health professional.

06Results Differ From Person to Person

Two people can do the same thing and get different results. That is normal.

Health is personal. Genes, history, environment, and plain chance all shape what happens next. Nothing here promises or guarantees any particular outcome. What the information can do is help you understand your own situation, and decide what to do about it alongside a health professional.

08A Note on the Mental Health Articles

They teach. They do not treat.

Some articles here cover mental health, stress, anxiety, depression, and emotional wellbeing. That content is educational. It is not a substitute for mental health support or professional psychological care.

If you are going through something serious, please reach out to a qualified mental health professional.

If you are in crisis, or having thoughts of harming yourself or others, contact your local emergency services now.

Your doctor, your local health service, or your nearest emergency department can help you find urgent support. Many countries run a dedicated crisis line and can point you to it.

Please do not wait. And please do not rely on a website in a crisis.

09Changes to This Disclaimer

We can update this page at any time. The date at the top says when we last did.

We recommend looking at it now and then.
